Turns out Justin Verlander and Kate Upton are really good at lip sync — independent of their romantic interludes. The two lovebirds paired up to reprise the interview scene from the classic comedy Step Brothers with Verlander in the role of Brennan Huff (Will Ferrell) and Upton as Pam Gringe (Gillian Vigman).
For reference, the original clip follows. Missing from the Verlander-Upton bit, Huff’s step brother Dale Doback (played by frequent Ferrell-sidekick John C. Reilly) appears as a backseat interviewee.

While Verlander was working on his thespian skills with Upton, fellow MVP Mike Trout and a cast of MLB All-Stars teamed up to deliver James Earl Jones’ memorable speech from Field of Dreams.
