Not all eyes in the boxing world have been transfixed on the upcoming Floyd Mayweather-Manny Pacquiao fight. Fellow welterweight Amir Khan recently showcased some nifty hand speed in a YouTube video that is fast approaching one-half million views.

While the trick is almost certainly the result of CGI, no one denies Khan’s legitimacy as a fighter.

WAITING FOR HIS OWN MEGAFIGHT

Whether Khan’s deft mitts can earn him a date with either of the two superstars of the division remains to be seen. He had hoped to be next in line for Mayweather, but then the Pacquiao megafight was announced.

''After Mayweather and Pacquiao, Amir will become the greatest pound-for-pound fighter on the planet.''

— Oscar De La Hoya, Khan's promoter

Now Khan is aiming for a fight in Abu Dhabi later in the year with former sparring-partner Pacquiao — who he thinks will come up short on May 2nd. In the meantime, the Briton has been bearing the brunt of his daughter’s vegetable-juice-powered beat downs.

Khan recently left his home country, which he described as an ‘environment of hate’, to train in America.
