2015 was quite a year for then 6-year-old Braylon Beam. We first learned about the dancing Carolina Panthers fan and brain-cancer survivor when he was a guest on The Ellen Show.

Ellen pulled some strings to fulfill two of Braylon’s wishes. First, former Panthers head coach Ron Rivera informed Braylon via video recording that the team wanted him to be the team’s ceremonial “Keep Pounding” drummer before a home game. Next, the talk show host invited Braylon to work the turntables alongside her show’s in-house DJ Stephen “Twitch” Boss.

The Panthers upped the ante by naming Braylon as the team’s honorary head coach during Fan Fest.

Braylon showed off some nice dance moves at the 50-yard-line culminating in a superman pose in the manner of his idol, Cam Newton – Carolina’s erstwhile QB.

COACH BEAM’S PRESS CONFERENCE

Proving he was more than up to the task at hand, Braylon even fielded press questions after the festivities.

BRAYLON BEAM’S FOOTBALL CARD

To “top” things off, Braylon even got his own Topps card, which he autographed for a fan.

It’s not a Starr Card, but still it’s not too shabby…
